BoLiViA ThoMpSoN had scoured the beauty magazines for a new do. She was always the most chic in her office, and took great pride in preserving her reputation. She requested “Moon hair”. One side was an eclipse, & the other a crescent moon, with the crescendo being star- shaped bangs. These were held in place by some sort of magic gel. It took hours, & Scarlet the hairdresser wouldn’t let Bolivia take even a peek. After the final wave of hair spray, Scarlet spun Bolivia around to face the mirror. Bolivia froze when she saw her reflection. She weakly sputtered to her hairdresser, “I believe we need to rethink this”.
